I love this color and see what you mean about the glaze covering the pattern on the rim. I agree that the same color on the cup with the raised pattern worked much better. I wonder if it would have worked better on the rim of the plate if you were able to spray the glaze as it would not have been as thick and it may not have ‘puddled’ in the shallower carvings. Or I wonder if the rim was brushed with water first, maybe the glaze would not have ‘puddled’ in the shallower areas.
Thanks for the considerations. I tried painting the glaze but I lost the color with a thinner application. I am currently trying to work this glaze with a matte – at the moment, I am stumped.
